Osteopathy
Overview

Osteopathy

Sometimes pain in one place starts somewhere else entirely. Osteopathy takes a whole-body view — our practitioners assess how everything connects and use gentle, hands-on techniques to restore balance, mobility, and ease.

It's especially well suited to sensitive or long-standing issues, and it works beautifully alongside physiotherapy, massage, and chiropractic care, all under one roof in the Canary District.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that treats the body as a connected whole, aiming to restore balance and relieve pain rather than focus only on the sore spot.

How is osteopathy different from physiotherapy or massage?

There's overlap, but osteopathy takes a whole-body approach with gentle manual techniques. Many patients combine it with physio or massage — and our team coordinates care.

Do I need a referral?

No — you can book osteopathy directly. Check your insurance for coverage and any referral requirements.

How much does osteopathy cost?

Your first visit is a 60-minute assessment and treatment for $140. Follow-ups are $100 for 30 minutes, $140 for 45, or $175 for 60. Add your insurance to our intake form after booking and we'll direct-bill where your plan allows.

Where are you located?

412 Front St E in Toronto's Canary District, east downtown Toronto.

I've gone to a few different massage therapists for running-related maintenance. My experience with Michael has been fantastic and is the reason I've stayed with Elit for the last 2 years.
